In the heart of the French countryside, I combine ancient metalworking traditions with modern design to create original, one-of-a-kind metal art. Every piece I make is handcrafted, blending skill, creativity, and a love of the material.

My Journey

I was born in the U.K., and my journey with metal began while studying Jewellery Design alongside my ‘A’ levels. I continued with a two-year BTEC National Diploma in Jewellery Design, before completing a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Three-Dimensional Design: Metalwork and Jewellery at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in 2001.

In 2005, I moved to France and realised my dream of opening my own home workshop and forge. I named my independent business ForgedArt, and since then, I’ve been creating bespoke metal art directly from my studio in rural South West France — every piece made entirely by me, from start to finish.
