How to order your own piece of ForgedArt 

How It Works

1. Tell me about your idea

Get in touch and tell me as much as you can about what you'd like. It can be as simple or as detailed as you wish.

It can be helpful to include:

• Who the piece is for

• The occasion or reason for the commission

• Any names, dates, words or messages

• Symbols, themes or particular motifs

• Your preferred metal, if you have one in mind

• Approximate size or where the piece will be displayed

• Any photographs, sketches or examples that have inspired you

• Your budget, if you have one

2. We develop the idea

I'll discuss your ideas with you, suggest materials and techniques, and explore different design possibilities. I can also work within a set budget, so please let me know if you have one in mind.

If you're not sure exactly what you want, that's absolutely fine. Part of my job as an artist and maker is helping you turn an idea into a finished design.

3. Your quote

Once I understand what you'd like, I'll provide a no-obligation quote based on the design, materials, size and time involved.

Nothing is made until we've agreed on the design and price.

4. I make your piece

Once everything is agreed, I begin creating your commission in my workshop. Every piece is designed, made and finished by me, using the techniques and materials best suited to the design.

I'll keep you updated as your piece takes shape.

5. Your finished piece

Before your commission is sent, I'll photograph the finished piece and send you photographs so you can see it before it leaves my workshop.

Your unique piece is then carefully packaged and posted to you.

Payment & Delivery

I accept PayPal and bank transfer.

I can ship throughout France and internationally. Delivery times vary according to the size and complexity of the commission and my current workload. Shipping costs will be included in your quote.

You don't need to know whether an idea is technically possible before getting in touch. I love exploring unusual ideas and finding ways to turn them into something tangible.

From a small personalised keepsake to a completely original piece of metal sculpture, every commission is an opportunity to create something that doesn't already exist.
